We just received the piece in the mail today. While we enjoy it and look forward to hanging it, unfortunately there was slight damage to the top corner of the piece during shipping. The packaging was not wrapped in high quality cardboard, which made it susceptible to any damage.

I used a set of the Large size to make a desk for my daughter. They look great and we’re super happy with them.

I would give this shop a 10 🌟 if I could. I misread the description and ordered foot rails, thinking it was a complete barrel with foot rail. They have a no return policy, but made an exception covered most of the shipping and even sent me a label to send it back to them extraordinary Customer Service that is a rarity these days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The item was good quality and shipping is fast but I could have read the post more carefully or hoping the post can be more clear stating this is only the glass top, the storage cabinet isn’t included in shipping. Lesson learned. The owner is very responsive and reasonable tho.

Oak Wood Wine Barrels replied on July 30, 2026

Hello Tracy, thank you for the review. As mentioned, we try to reduce confusion by putting "(TOP ONLY)" in the title and "Barrel Bases Not Included. TOP ONLY." in the description. We also offered a barrel base at the lowest possible cost price just to help make up for the situation and gave you an exception in terms of being able to return the items and get a full refund. I am surprised you feel that the way we handled the situation warranted only three stars as the title, description, barrel clearance price and exception to return the item were all offered but thank you again.

Bought a set of 2 for our guest house. Worth the price. Not cheaply made, high quality, well made. If I could have afforded more at the time I would have bought 4. I’ll be saving to get more for our own house bar area. They are worth the price, my husband and I were very pleased.
